Choose any one of the Roman works we've read in this unit to work with. Develop an argument concerning the relationship between how your author introduces the idea of decadence and the rhetorical use to which your author puts that idea (i.e., why he introduces the idea). Make sure to stay closely tied to the primary text and to support your argument carefully from the text.
